Laveru is in Srikakulam district in the state of Andhra Pradesh. It is located 21 km west of the district headquarters Srikakulam. The Laver Zone is bordered on the south by the Ranasthalam zone, on the north by the Ponduru zone, on the east by the Etcherla zone, and on the west by the Cheepurupalli Zone. According to the 2011 Indian Census the village is spread over 15,214 houses and has a population of 67,344. There are 34,071 males and 33,273 females in the village.
