About Us

The Sri Mukhalingeswara Temple, located in the village of Mukhalingam in Jalumuru mandal was built in the 8th century AD by Kamarnava–II of the Eastern Ganga Dynasty. Every year, thousands of devotees from Andhra Pradesh and Odisha visit this temple to take part in the famous Chakratirtha Snanam, a holy bath believed to bring blessings from Lord Shiva.

About Us

The Subramanya Temple in Jalumuru is an ancient Hindu temple surrounded by beautiful natural scenery. Inside the temple, the images of Adi Sesha and Vasuki can be seen along with Lord Subramanya. The main deity, Lord Subramanya (Karthikeya), is seated gracefully on a peacock in the sanctum. The idol faces the east, symbolizing the rising sun and new beginnings.
