Rajam is one of the biggest municipalities in Srikakulam district in the state of Andhra Pradesh. According to the 2011 census, Rajam has a population of 94,039. Of these, 47,017 were males and 47,022 were females. It is located 35 km west of Srikakulam. The Rajam zone is bounded on the south by the G. Sigidam zone, on the north by the Regidi zone, on the west by the Therlam zone of Vizianagaram and on the east by the Santhakaviti zone. Rajam has 33 villages and 21 panchayats.
