The Story of Ummagiri

Ummagiri is a village in the Mandasa Mandal of Srikakulam District in Andhra Pradesh. Ummagiri is at a distance of 5 km from the regional center of in Mandasa Mandal. According to the 2011 Indian Census, the village has 222 houses and a population of 745, spread over 168 hectares with 365 males and 380 females in the village. Ummagiri has one government primary school, one government upper primary school and one government secondary school. The nearest Junior College, Science and Arts Degree College, Polytechnic College, Engineering College and Medical Colleges are in Tekkali.
