The Story of Buruga

Buruga is a village in the Veeragattam Mandal of Srikakulam District in Andhra Pradesh. Buruga is at a distance of 10 km from the regional center of Veeragattam Mandal. According to the 2011 Indian Census, the village has 516 houses and a population of 1798, spread over 312 hectares with 904 males and 894 females in the village. Buruga has one government primary school, one government upper primary school and one government secondary school. The nearest Junior College, Science and Arts Degree College, Polytechnic College, Engineering College and Medical Colleges are in Srikakulam.
