The Story of Vadama

Vadama is a village in the Palakonda Mandal of Srikakulam District in Andhra Pradesh. Vadama is at a distance of 10 km from the regional center of Palakonda Mandal. According to the 2011 Indian Census, the village has 516 houses and a population of 1798, spread over 312 hectares with 904 males and 894 females in the village. Vadama has one government primary school, one government upper primary school and one government secondary school. The nearest Junior College, Science and Arts Degree College, Polytechnic College, Engineering College and Medical Colleges are in Rajam.

Vadama is supplied with protected fresh water through taps. Vadama receives water through hand pumps, wells throughout the year. Sewage water flows openly, through raw canals and drains.
